I have bought the Inspire T6200 speaker on January 01, 2011 for a price of Rs.4300.
Highlight :
A perfect 5.1 product for Computer. The product gives a clear voice output even at the low volume levels. Usually other models of the same brand creative’s 5.1 speakers wont give much clear voices as this does.
When you adjust the volume level the bass effect accordingly, For eg, If the volume level is low as u enjoy melodies.
The bass effect gets adjusted to that level and when listening to rocks with high volume levels. The bass increases and gives correct punch accordingly. Much other 5.1 brands and models wont produce correct bass for the low volume levels.
Design:
Absolutely fine with the design. Unlike as the normal speakers the surround speakers are square shaped with a curve at the back of it.
We can even hang the 4 surround speakers on the wall except for the center speaker.
Moreover we can place the rear left/right speakers above the front left/right speakers if our room is small. The product has an inbuilt power adapter in sub-woofer.
This prevents hanging the wires behind the computer. The volume controller is majestic in its design with the Mic-in and headphone pins.
Specification:
It has the 22 watt sub-woofer giving the very high bass output inside the room.
The voices are very clear from the center channel speaker with a wattage of 18. The other 4 surround speakers have a wattage of 7.5 watts each.
Installation:
If your room is 10 10 or 11 11 the effect will be too high and you cant listen to music in Full volume level. If the room size is 10 16 or 11 16, then placing the speakers at the places specified by the company, you can enjoy an awesome music with good bass and treble effects.
Place the front left and right surround speakers at least 5 feet diagonally from where u sit.
Also don’t place the four surround speakers at much height. Place at the height of your chair, probably around 4-5 feet from ground. Place the sub-woofer at the right hand side of yours (below the front right surround speaker) by keeping the hole of the sub-woofer box towards the wall, so that the bass reflects all over the room evenly.
If your room is 10 16 or 11 16 , then your music output will be as good as you enjoy sounds in theaters . The whole room will be surrounded by music while you stand at every place of the room.
To Enjoy Complete Music :
You have to have a 5.1 or 7.1 sound card to enjoy the above said effects. The drivers coming along with the sound cards help in making the output of the product much more good.
The Creative Sound Blaster 5.1 are available from Rs.1100. But when you have processors of Core i3, Core i5 or Core i7 , you need not buy the sound cards . As these motherboards have an inbuilt sound cards, there will not be any drivers given along with the boards.
So you cant alter the effects of the individual surround speakers. If you plan to by a 5.1 its better to buy at least a 5.1 sound card along with the speakers. I don’t have much idea about other brand’s motherboards.
