The new one is a 4.3 inch behemoth and its video clarity renders my psp a joke.. its beautiful.. its stock earphones agreedly are not that awesome..but on my sennheiser set it is just awesome.. with 5 adjustible EQ bands and 8 presets it gives me as much choice as I want..
It still plays avi’s the most notable feature on this as comp[ared to any other PMP out there.. (personally I hate the ipod but hey I got it for free wit a macbook pro :p ) .. got an average battery life of 5 hours video with my fiddling around... It seems a bit faster than the older one.. Got a removable battery..the same good stuff like AV cable come in the package as usual..
I would recommend it to anyone who is buying a PMP not for music but videos.. GOD.. how I love watchin unending seasons of my favourite soap straight after download. The picture is crystal clear and an absolute pleasure, it is not jerky and fast frames(like disco lights of a song) dont give jagged images. I think I speak for everyone when I say.. who would want to hide it in a pocket listening to music when I have a 4.3 inch gorgeous screen..!!
Of all the gadgets I carry around.. this one raises the most eyebrows... And its a buy well worth the 16K rupees I spent on the 60 gigs version.. !! I love creative and I believe is the only competition to the monotonous ipod. In conclusion all I wanna say is.. u can buy the new slimmer zune, the Ipod or an archos.. but nothin will even come close to takin over this.. simply cos they all need conversion to MP4 or WMV (zune) to play video..
