My name is Vasudha. I am four year old. You can call me Vasu. My Dad calls me Gunda Basu (Gunda Badmash in his own Language). I am his darling and can make him dance to my tunes. Photograph you see on the account is mine and you can see I am cute. Enough of my introduction lets come the point. Problem is with him whenever I want to watch my favorite channel, Pogo he will recount me 100 disadvantages of watching idiot box. Although he himself wears glasses and watches stupid cricket matches for whole day sometimes for five days. Somebody tell him to not to preach what he cannot follow.
On top of it at the end of the match either he is too excited and dances like 2 year old or he is in such a bad mood that mom has to intervene, c’mon it is just a game is the words I hear the most at these times. But one thing is good when he is in good mood after the match we usually get an ice cream treat and he remains upbeat until next match and if he is in bad mood usually mom will cook either chicken curry, my favorite (his also by the way) or will make custard or something special just to make him happy and that’s not all he will take us out next day just to forget what has happened.
That’s not all he will go on murmuring and talking to himself stuff like agar Tendulkar to galat out nahi deta to!!!! Ab de diya na out bhool jao! Just chilax. Dhoni se to bas Ad karva lo!!!! Ab ad milege to karega hi. Dravid to kaptani nahi aati!! Aapko aati hai? Then go and replace him. Afterall why bother about things you cannot control. These adults are beyond me, I tell you. But Anyways I am happy both way either you will get treat from Dad or a indirect treat which Mom will make to comfort him. Few months back (March – April to be precise) I overheard him that he will not watch matches anymore. Some world cup was there to be won. I offered him my cup in which I drink milk, it also very big and beautiful as consolation and thought good sense has prevailed on him but off late he is back to his old tricks. Now he watches matches in the evening till late night.
Dadi apne saas bahu wale serial bhi nahi dekh sakti. Let me also share I think match un serial se to theek hi hote hai. Ab Twenty Twenty ki ka raag alaap rahe hai. Itna bhi nahi pata eighteen nineteen twenty hota hai ya fifty – fifty hota hai. Counting bhi nahi aati. But I hope India wins that Twenty – Twenty thing as he was promising mom trip to Singapore if it happens. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for that. To end with I will like to request him and all cricket lovers that no matter what happens India looses or wins you should treat your kids with Ice Cream ( for all the patience) and kabhi – kabhi pogo ya nick dekhne me koi burai nahi hai.
