Sachin tendulkar in crucial matches.

The first cricket match I watched was India vs Sri Lanka in wc 1996. sachin hit 137. I hardly knew the reason for him to waive his bat in air after hitting century. since then I have been watching cricket like anything and today I have a good some knowledge of the game. in the recent years a new development that has come is people blaming Sachin non-performance in crucial matches.

Well I have a clarification for them on the issue. he averages more than 45 in final and final kind of matches. even batting second i’e while chasing he has a healthy average of more than 40. he has career average of 44 and against aus he averages 46. so, he bats extremely well against tough sides. the best example would be the current India England series in progress. he has played monumental role in India’s come back. he scored when India was lagging by 2-1. then he scored when India was lagging by 3-1. even he scored when India were on the blink of loosing series at 3-2 and went on to score another 94 to square up the series and keep the hopes alive for Indian cricket fan. with all these how can one term him to be not useful in crucial matches specially while chasing.

Even people like ian chappel have started to comment on his credentials, all these are not because of sachin rather it is attributed to we Indians who don’t know to respect their national heroes who bring up the name of nation at top level.

i hope all of you will agree to me and I will be more than eager to receive your comments.
