So shocking to hear that the man who has done so much to the Indian cricket, only succesful Captain with more wins than any other captain in india but the era which other captains were there they were not having a option of Bangaldesh and the current westindies team, man with good average (healthy average) in one day cricket best off side player with 22 hundreds (thanx to bangadesh , zim , Kenya ) we had discuss lot about his career but the question is should he continue as a captain
everybody thinks as he is not scoring the run thats why he should be drop , Selector say we have faith in him he will score.
If he scores thats better but we want the leader who has the killer instinct and not the Stressed captain who always on the field is tense with what to do with the next bowler he is even afraid of afridi who himself through his wicket if you guys had seen fourth day of the last test ( Ind Vs Pak 2005) where pak has come out to score fast and afridi started with the first ball he faced with four and that a miss cue short which has created a terror in the mind of ganguly he straight went on with the defensive field with 5 man on leg side sachin bowling right arm round on his leg and he was easily hitting like a base ball , boss this is not a base ball some body has go to him and expalin the ganguly that this is test match which has no home run system , if he hits one six its not the worry. Even sachin agreed to him and he bowled the way his captain has said.
Second mistake of not going after run chase on fifth day is a big mistake bcz 383 is not impossible in todays world where aus can score 350+ without sachin, dravid, laxman, shewag then he had all of them. Saurav doesn’t have killer instinct, infact flemming of Newzealand, lara of westindies, attapattu of SL , grame smith of SA, micheal vaughan of England are far better than the saurav as the have the potential to change the thing so thats why there selector are far confident.
I feel sorry for Indian cricket we have such losser. Removing T- shirt is not the sports man spirit. Its the time to give the captainship to some one who is young and have killer instinct and the man I think is KAIF under V- captain ship of Dravid.
