Having seen the result of 1st test between india and australia being played at mumbai, the performance of indian team is no surprising at all. had the performance been otherwise, it should have been a big issue. team selection is the worst; it is clear that vvs laxman makes tons in domestic cricket; ajit agarkar is well known for his poor performance in recent times, he is too liberal in giving out runs, there is no experienced bowled except srinath. bowling is the weakest department in the current team. perfoemance of ganguly and dravid is not at all impressive. sachin also is belying our expectations. already we lost interest in cricket following the match fixing issue, such a poor performance only supports our lack of interest.
