Some Changes are needed!!!

As most of the people in India I am also keen follower of game of Cricket especially matches involving India. I have always wondered, what makes the Pakistani cricket team to win matches from a lossing position. But after the betting scandal it was clear that most of the matches which India and Pakistan played were fixed, and they just made fool of the millions of people across the globe.

Many things have been written about players and their relations and contact with the bookies, but not a single serious step has been taken to curb the growing influence of bookies on important players of the team.

What happened to all the bookies responsible for fixing many matches with the help of Azhar and Co? Where are they? have they stop fixing matches? Phew!!! I don’t believe that now matches are played clean.

Now coming back to matches played in India, have you people ever thought Why there are not much Triangular matches played in India? Why only series between two team are played? The answer is very simple, its lot easier to fix matches when only two teams are involved, whereas if the number of teams are more in a particular series/tournament its become very difficult to fix players from all the team. (Remember the SA Indian tour, almost all the matches were fixed between both teams).

To curb the growing influence of bookies and to minimize the chances of fixing matches,

1. No matches or series should be played between two teams, there should be a triangular series or more then that but no tournaments where only two teams are involved.

2. The Playing Eleven should be kept rotating like the Aussies rotating system.

3. The players should not be allowed to take water drinks on the field, some person appointed by ICC should do that.

4. The Players should be paid according to their performance, as someone mention this point before on MS.

Any more suggestion and comments are welcome!!
