Croma was launched with much fanfare in Bangalore and though all my shopping experiences with them have been good, their store after-sales customer service is pathetic. I bought good worth Rs 40, 000/- from Croma Koramangla Bangalore and had a issue with the toaster(cheapest thin I bought out of 40k). Gave it for repair as pop up feature was not working(basic feature in any pop up toaster). It took Croma three weeks to repair and give it back to me after I chased them for all those three weeks.
I was finally satisfied.
But, to my SHOCK, it was sent unrepaired to me after all three weeks.Took it back to the store and they asked me to give it back to them for repair with scant respect to all the horrible service given to me. I refused to give it back adn asked for a replacement or refund.(this is the best).the manager said that they can not do either of it and I said, I will not take it back as not sure they will repair and how much more time.he said Ok and kept the toaster with him.he was least bothered if a customer walked out of sheer frustration and did not want to claim his item.such pathetic customer service is a bad name fr TATA, which is the most respected brand in India.
