Recently, I bought an IFB washing machine & my experience was great, in terms of Indian standards for customer service. I walked in, selected the washing machine, but came out without buying - with the intention of checking the prices outside. Roamed around for couple of days to Pai, Viveks & EZone. Found the lowest price for my chosen model, at Viveks.
Went back to Croma & quoted the lower price (23.4k from Croma & 22k from Viveks) & the location of Viveks. The sales person requested me to wait & my offer was confirmed in few mins at 21.8k - they wanted to beat the lowest market price, not just meeting! The reason I went back to Croma(though I found lower price at Viveks) is, HSBC credit card is offering a 1000/- cashback on purchases above 20k at Croma.
As they didn’t have stock, they said, they can deliver it after 4 days. But, they could not stand upto their promise. Someone called me from Croma on 4th day & said it got delayed for some silly reason & delivered it on the next day.
Other minor issue I found with Croma at Eva mall is that I could not reach them over the phone on a Monday morning & the sales person told me that it’s a problem they’re currently facing on Monday mornings due to heavy call traffic from the weekend customers.
I strongly recommend this store any electronics purchase, not because of their pricing but because of the wide range & as well market price matching/beating.
