Firstly most of the salesmen are busy chatting with each other or playing with the laptops. I see them seeing movie clips and taking photos and even accessing their mail. You have to literally tear them away from their entertainment to ask questions about a product.
There is no manager, nobody in charge, nobody who takes any responsibility for service. When you complain about anything, they say you can mail a complaint at their website.
Anyway, purchased a LED TV at Croma. Time of delivery was not maintained. Delivery was given at the time when nobody was home and delivery man insisted on leaving the package with the watchman. When that option was refused, he got arrogant and said then in that case tv cannot be delivered, you do what you want.
Had to go to the store and make a complaint.
First I was asked who was the salesman who gave the delivery time. I told them I do not remember the name. This seemed to be a problem. Anyway, after about 30 mins they rectified the problem, tv was delivered the next day but now it has been over 7 days the engineer has not come to set up the television. I keep getting calls from Croma asking if the engineer has installed the TV, when I say no, they just say they will look into it, and nothing happens.
Rude and arrogant behavior by their delivery man, wrong delivery date.
One week - and no installation.
No response from the store.
Warranty card has not yet been signed and stamped.
So a word of warning:
Please ensure date of delivery, make sure you note the name of salesman who sells you the item.
Probably you need to ask him to give you a written statement about delivery date/time. Make them promise not to leave the item with the watchman if you are not at home.
Make them promise when the "engineer" will come to install the product.
Ask for the warranty card to be signed and stamped without waiting for the engineer to come.
Or, just make your life simple. Buy your electronics from another store with better sales and service.
