Cromaretail.com, the ignorant type who doesn’t give a damn about the customers. Despite being owned by Tata, they dont live up to the name, not even a bit.
I wanted to buy an LG Optimus pro e988 (White) from their site. The price was good (28k) 2k lesser than Flipkart. When I try to buy the item, it takes me to the second phase of the order where I give my address and when I click "dispatch to this address" it doesn’t take me to the third phase which is "Order Summary" instead the page reloads.
When I tried it with other products, it works. I mailed them twice asking if the stock is over or delivery is not available to my area but not a single response. I called them up and the girl tells me there is some technical problem with the site and it will be fixed in 30 minutes and the item is indeed available for shipping to my area. In fact, they have no clue what’s wrong, they don’t even know that problem is with this item only, they just tell me there is something wrong with the whole site.
After 30 mins, nothing is fixed, after two days nothing is fixed. At-least they should let us know what the problem is. If the stock is unavailable, tell us so. I have nothing against Croma, I have bought stuffs from their store when I was staying in Mumbai and was satisfactory but the on-line experience is just the opposite.
An unresponsive email support and a clueless call support has ruined my experience on this site and I do not recommend the site to anyone. If someone faces a problem with shipment or the product after actually spending money and purchasing the item and if they are to face this kind of support, that’s just sad.
