I bought this air cooler product Crompton Creaves PAC 201 for my secondary guest bedroom with 150 Sq. Ft. I live in the city of Chennai where the humidity level is high. This cooler is having Ice compartment but this doesn’t make much difference in the output air. It did not come with water pluck and this must be due to mishandling during the shipping and so I have make some temporary arrangements.
Unfortunately, this cooler is not built for this harsh weather condition I believe. This did not meet our cooling requirement though we didn’t want it to compete with Air Conditioner.
Pros: Good area cover, swing control, energy efficient.
Cons: Louder than usual, cooling not so effective with just water or ice, water level indicator doesn’t work when water level is low.
