Loosen your purse strings

Crossroads situated at Hajiali is one of its kind in Mumbai. Shoppers Stop was until then the one-stop shop. But Crossroads is one step ahead. To begin with there are varieties of shops. The place is huge. It is three storeys.

The place offers several designer labels - which are a little off the mark when it comes to price. But then there are other places which offer reasonably priced clothes which are trendy.

Apart from western casuals there is a shop called Mix-n-match which has some cool traditional clothes. There are salwar suits and cotton kurtas which are comfortable and trendy fashion-wise. And this place is not expensive at all.

Then there is on the first floor a jewellery arcade. There are stalls of various jewellery shops around town in the same arena. It offers choice in terms of design and price.

There is also a book store which is quite the place to be.

The best stop being while on your way down is of course Mc Donalds. Probably the biggest in town.

Recently they opened a store of Marks n Spencer in Crossroads which is a world-wide name. Although the stuff available is what is available throughout the world, the prices are exorbitant. More than that the prices are ridiculous. Probably the shipping charges are just a wee bit too much to import things to India!

Then there is another ridiculously priced store by the name of Mango. The clothes available there are exclusively designed but are not the sort that can be worn on the roads. If you know what I mean!

Crossroads is a one-stop shop for shopping but one just has to be careful and spend a little time to check out all the shops before making a buy.
