I am basically from Ernakulam and as I was at my friend’s place; we visited this theatre near Mananchira square, Kozhikode for the movie Tumhari sulu.
The show was at 1.45pm and we reached there around 1.20pm which to our luck turned good as there was such a rush in the parking area ( very less space that we had to park in the side road) .
Moving on to the ticket counter, I was taken aback when I heard the rates; it was Rs.200 per person. Even in large multiplexes back at our place, for a 3-D movie, they charge only Rs.140 or so.I came to hear from my friend that, for a 3D movie, in addition to this charge, we also have to pay a non-refundable amount of Rs.50 for the 3-D glasses.
We would have opted for another theater but many of the bollywood and hollywood movies are only screened here and nowhere else in town.
Must say, they are making a lot of profit of common man’s helplessness.
Won’t recommend because of the price they charge.
