VJ Purab plays cupid

This one’s got to be definitely the most popular show with teens and college kiddos. Channel [V] comes out with smart ideas of playing cupid and shooting those love arrows right into the unsuspecting hearts. VJ Purab looks cute and plays a modern day eros. And honestly, I watch this show just for his sake. The idea behind this programme is to, at the end of the day, profess one’s crush/love to that special someone in the whackiest way possible and to make him/her feel special too. What makes it so good is that its about the next door guy/girl and realistic in true sense. I mean its about real people and not acting. There have been some episodes with guest stars like Sehwag, Aftab Shivdasani etc where the ’madly-in-love’ with fans have got an opportunity to meet and confess their feelings to these celebrities. However, such episodes looked more contrived and artificial.. just like the one they had on this Valentine’s Day. Hey, what happened to that good old simplicity? Anyways, its a good show with a good cause. Thanks Purab, for all those efforts in bringing two hearts together. Cut down on extra gimmicks and sure you’ll have countless fans confessing their crush on you.. ;)
