If you are considering to shift your servers to CtrlS from any of your existing providers then please do not make this mistake. They claim to be Asia’s largest and only 4 tier infrastructure but from my experience I can rate them PATHETIC. This has been my experience with them for last 2 years. There are many downtimes, you cannot trust them with 24*7 uptime. There is huge miscommunication between the teams. The support team does not log issues and the list is huge. Here are some of the points I can document
We have an application that talks internally. But it was discovered they were not on same pod. There were performance issues for months and we were receiving flak from our customers. We continuously raised the issue with CtrlS and they took the efforts and brought all the nodes on one pod. It was a huge business loss while the problem persisted. And the same time bad name in the market for our product
The server access is not continuous. For live application that is dangerous
There are ping losses that we face and communication within servers is always bad.
And on top of that the billing team starts suspending your servers if payment not done in 10 days after raising the invoice. We requested them for 25 days which they didn’t allow(which is okay) but on one occasion despite making payment suspended our server because of their internal team confusion.
We are done with them.
