I have been reading many reviews on Maggie Noodles since the last few days in Mouthshut.Com. I feel the members have started feeling hungry. Hence I would like to recommend another brand of noodles to them called Cup O’ Noodles.
At the outset let me clarify that neither I am an agent of Cup O’ Noodles nor do I have anything against Maggie noodles. Just that there are so many reviews on Maggie Noodles that I decided to enlighten the members about this brand of noodles called Cup O’ Noodles.
Cup O’ Noodles is manufactured by Nissan and it comes in a plastic cup.To cook you simply have to boil the water , lift the aluminium foil covering the mouth of the cup a little bit and pour boiling water in the cup.Then close the foil for about a minute.After you open the foil , the boiled hot noodles are ready to eat.
The chopped vegetables and seasoning ( masala ) are already added to the noodles and hence this is ready to eat meal.The vegetables include onions and finely chopped carrots.The seasoning of the masala flavour tastes good.
The plus point about this snack is that it can be made very quickly without much hassle.The taste is good.But be careful of the quantity of water you add because if you add too much water the gravy which is formed shall be low in spice content and it shall ruin your taste.
The demerit or limitation of this product is that it is strictly a snack.You might enjoy it once in a while for a change or when your mother or spouse is away and you cooking skills like mine extend to only boiling water.
The product is available in Masala ( veg ) and Chicken version.I have tried the Masala version only as I am a veggie.Last time I brought it , it was priced at 20 Rs.The quantity provided is sufficient for a snack item.
Recommended if you are really hungry and do not have the patience to wait for 2 minute noodles.
