I and my family (total 3 members) took a family holiday for Singapore/Malaysia for 8 nights and nine days. On arrival Singapore all went well for 2 days. but things changed once we arrived kualalumpur. Room given was express room and not the standard room as was promised.
Guide was terrible and he picked up arguments with some guys in the group. There was a guide provided at Genting on arrival but he vanished after brief meeting. Check in at the hotel was at 5pm though it takes only 45 min to reach there from Kualalumpur. The day was wasted in Kualalumpur itself which was not in itenary. Then the guide provided at Genting took money for a show but did not turn up until late that too fully drunk. Show was missed by us. He finally returned our money after I warned them of reporting to Police.
After 2 days at Genting which was really a waste we were put in a minivan early morning at 5.30am without any breakfast though package was with bed n breakfast. Transfer to Singapore was supposed to be by a private coach as per itenary. But we had to change six transport to reach S’pore hotel. It started with mini van, then public transport to halfway mark.Then changed again to public transport after dragging our luggage inside the bus.This one took us to Malaysian Immigration. After immigration we had to wait for one hour for another public transport.
We called D’pauls office at Delhi, Kualalumpur and S’pore but there was no convincing reply.Next bus took us to S’pore immigration. dragged luggage and cleared immigration and changed to another public bust to halfway mark wher finally a minivan picked us up after waiting for 45 min in rain. It was a horrible ride thanks to d’paul.
Hotel n breakfast provided at hotel fortuna was bad to say the least though the hotel(Santa Grand) which was provided on first 2 days was good and clean.To sum up very poor service was provided by D’paul with no help.
