MUMBAI SHEHER KABHI SEEDHA NAHI HOTA......starts of the narrator as soon as the movie starts.....
Hi dudes and dudettes......long time since I wrote here...so am back again with a review on the latest movie that I saw.....D
RGV movies have always pulled me into the theatres......so did this one....and was I happy at the end of the show???......read on!!
This was one movie I went for without watching any of the promos...to be honest after watching NAINA from RGVs stable I was a bit apprehensive in going for D......but since everyone was comparing the movie with COMPANY I thought it has to be a good movie and decided to give it a try...so I drive down to this theatre in Chennai....a theatre to which I have not been in the last 15 years of my stay in Chennai!!
The movie starts with Deshu (played by Randeep Hooda) returning from Dubai where he used to work as a mechanic.....series of events after he lands in Mumbai attract him towards the underworld.....and of he goes to join one of the Dons in Mumbai......
He becomes buddy with Raghav (Played by Chunky Pandey) who is already a member of the gang....brings lot of profit for the gang....goes boom bang all over Mumbai and creates an image for himself within the gang.....and soon his popularity increases amongst the gang except for the Dons two sons.......
they do not like the authority and power given to Deshu by their father and decide to do something about it.....They convince their dad that Deshu is a cheater and should be removed from the gang....
In the process Raghav is killed by the sons and Deshu returns to take revenge.....He wipes out the entire gang except the Don......He wants the Don to repent on the mistake of trying to kill him.....
Randeep Hooda is here to stay......He certainly has got very good screen presence.....amazing attitude he shows.....and dialogue delivery was simply amazing in certain scenes.......Am sure that D will do the same thing that COMPANY did to Vivek Oberoi......but honestly I think that Randeep Hooda is going to do a lot better than the Oberoi Jr.......A stellar of a performance from Randeep in this movie.....best of luck for his future......
Chunky Pandey does not have a big role to play...but performs well in his not so long role......Isha Kopikar and Rukhsar are tolerable......
The most irritating aspect of this movie is the songs that come and go in between.....RGV could have actually persuaded the director to skip the songs...
The screen play of the movie I would say I slower when compared to that of COMPANY........Not a bad BG score from Prashant Mishra(I think that is his name)
over all a very good product from THE FACTORY.......worth watching it....
Comments and ratings awaited...
MS Rocks!!
Keep writin...and readin!!
