First of all, Randeep Hooda is sooooo sexy! He is really very good looking with an intensity that just mystifies and attracts. I do hope he does well, because I feel that he is a good actor and has the goods! Now for the movie...
I went in with high expectations. RGV has churned out many different plots, and I expected the same here. I found the soundtrack very entertaining and appropriate with the storyline. And the acting was very good. Why then did I come away feeling that there was nothing to remember this movie by?
The screenplay was very bad and limited. It reminded me of Kaante, where there was no substance and too much attitude. Well, at least it had some suspense, which, by the way, my brother made sure that I knew before I watched the movie!!!
Dialogues were interrupted by music several times. One may choose to see it as good to avoid repetition of dialogues. But for me it was more like there was nothing to talk about, and so the director just threw in some music to fill in. I couldnt help but compare it with Company. Company was a masterpiece! D fails to be even a poor imitation.
I would say, watch it once to pass your time... the music and Hooda are worth that much... and then forget it as a poor imitation.
