D - God fatherish style execution

I walked into the theater with high expectations after checking TA’s review. The theater was houseful and 95% of the audience were males ( oh yeh its RGV movie). First time I got a feeling that RGV should make films that would attract female audience to the theaters.

Anyways the movie did not met my sky high expectations. It was just a ok movie. I would call it as a mix of first half of Satya and first half of Company with a drama touch of Naach.

This movie is different from the other underworld movies because it is handled like a drama movie (God Fatherish style). Other movies of RGV may not demand actors to have good acting skills but this movie does demand actors who can act well. So, there were few scenes where you get a feeling that some of the supporting actors including chunkey pandey were not upto the mark.

The director creates few fearful situations which are so different and interesting.

  1. The train scene

  2. Scene where Deshu takes revenge of Raghav Killing and says ’’Raghav ka account clear’’

  3. Deshu builds his empire away from mumbai - total corporate style

Background music. This is the soul and hightlight of the movie

Direction (Vishram Sawant): Excellent

Screenplay: Just average.. should have been bit more detailed and tighter

Cinematography: above average

Randeep Hooda (D) : Superb.. he looks good and acted great

Rukhsar: Excellent

Goga Kapoor: Excellent

Chunkey Pandey: Average

Yashpal Sharma: Excellent

Shushant Singh: Average

Jeeva: Excellent

If you liked Satya and Company and execution style of Naach(forget acting and story of Naach) then you will for sure love this movie

After the Naach debacle.. this movie is a bit of relief to the RGV camp and likers of RGV movies
