I am not an expert in D2H service, but after reading few reviews I decided to buy Videocon d2h in Kolkata. After I booked the product (standard resolution, not HD), received three calls from Videocon Mumbai office. Funny thing is both of them assured that "your product will be installed within two-three days, but please refer my name "!!! I did not expected from Videocon :-D.
Anyways, product was installed very promptly and the staffs were professional, did not wanted any tips. After I paid them the money was reflected on my online account.
The first month they gives a good channel package. After it was finished, I recharged online. The signal went off I learned from the customer care that I had to recharge within the validity. Customer care service was also good. After switching on the set for few minutes the signal came back.
I liked the transparency of their service, the online account information. Go for it!
