Yesterday morning, I had called the Video con service Manager and explained to him that I was not receiving signals on my TV .He had sent over a technician who told me that the set-top box needed changing. As I was on the verge of shifting , I declined the offer of a new set-top box.For this service or disservice , I was charged Rs 200 and was not given a receipt.Isn t it highly unethical to charge the customer when you have not b
een able to rectify the problem? Also , I had recharged only the day before. At the very least Videocon should return the money paid for recharging , as Iam unable to watch any programs paid for.
Today morning, I had tested the TV again and found it be working perfectly , the TV and set- top box.The same set- top box which the mechanic had labelled faulty and collected Rs 200without repairing. If this is not daylight robbery , then please tell me what is ?
