I wish I can warn at least those, who plan to buy Videocon D2h. Very bad service, overall pathetic product. I have almost invested a large sum in a flop product.
I bought this Videocon LCD with D2h service, considering that I wouldn’t have to go for the cable connection and there wouldn’t be any additional set top box, as this LCD has an in-built one. This TV was actually bought for my In-laws as a anniversary gift.
It worked well for first few months and then it all started which I would say was a nightmare. We aren’t sure what the problem is exactly, as the service provided by the technicians from this company is pathetic. They visit you, talk politely, mention about some missing part or some mal-functioning and leave. Then you don’t see them for a couple of weeks.
They send you a list of smses, which add up your inbox, nothing else.
Its been over an month and I am yet to get my service, hopefully this will happen this year. Hence a request please don’t buy it. There are other better options available which give good service and are really prompt.
