I bought this online on 10th Nov 2010 and surprisingly I got a call from their engineer for installation within 24 hours. He said he will come @ 19:00 hours and I said ok, however since then 6 days passed by and nobody turned up and neither anybody tried to call back.
I must have spoken to at least 10 different people at their call center(1800 No.) and every time they kept on insisting that I should wait for the engineer to call. If asked for a supervisor, they didn’t have one and gave me a complaint No.
All they could reply is, everything has been done from their side and it is not their problem anymore and I have to wait for the engineer to call back.
I finally placed a request for cancellation of the order No. 20101110051448 to which they replied that I’ll get a reply in next 21 days and nothing more.
Videocon is nothing more than a farce and all they can do is take money from prospective customtakeouters like me.
To me they are cheats.
