I am using videocon DTH for last 1 years. Picture quality was good. Recently I changed my location and I have requested for relocation service. The service engineers came were not professional. First they installed the dish very near to another dish and checked for the signal for whole lot of time then they said the receiver has complains and they have to replace the receiver which they said cost 450/-
I had no other option so they have changed the receiver with new one. But with new one as well they are not able to get the signal then they changed the dish location making more drills on the roof. This time after many attempts they get the signal but the quality was low. They charge me 750/- for relocation charge as well as for receiver replacement.
But I was not getting good quality picture and I see lots of pixelation issues so again I raised a complaint. This time a good service engineer came and fixed the issue. He said that the previous service engineers which came are not regular engineers and work on contract basis. He also told me that the real cost of the receiver is around 225/- not 450/-. So I have paid 225/- extra to those guys.
How the hell we know who is a regular service engineer and who are on contract basis? When I asked whether they have the list of spare parts with amount details they told they don’t have it. They don’t give any receipt either.
