Edit - Problem Resolved !

Edit - Videocon CC responded well and resolved by below problem, Thanks ! My Previous posting was: Hi All Iam from Chennai, one month old customer to Videocon D2H, my customer ID 80938027 Since new connection installation dt  (08-Nov), below is my nightmare service exp with D2H




  1. My D2H STB Remote instrument has 2 buttons (channel up/down and “I” channel info button) which didnot work sometimes (ie) while watching programs suddenly these 2 buttons does not work, I came to know within a week I have to entirely switch-off restart the TV/STB to get back to normal




  2. Reported this to  D2H CC, vide Complaint 141467156, dt 18-Nov, one service person called me same day, asked me directions to reach my house etc and said he will come. I waited w/o going to office, he never turned up that day nor had basic courtesy to call and inform. Next day also no revert, but evening (19-Nov) Iam getting an SMS stating “my above complaint (with number ref ) resolved successfully” !!! Excellent service, Wow !!




  3. Without losing hopes, again (20-Nov) I spoke to Customer care, a fresh complaint no:was given 141646151, dt 20-Nov.  Now a person came, again timing at his convenience, not mine which I specified , simply replaced the remote with new one (w/o understanding the basic problem I again explained over phone, it was not full remote malfunctioning but 2 buttons not working at times only not always, means some other issue possible !)




  4. After 2-3 days again same problem with this replaced remote too, means it is confirmed that STB other issues to be looked at.




  5. Somebody suggested, go to D2H FB page, and post this they respond “well”, so I posted this in their “FB support link” dt 28-Nov, got an SMS with a new Work order no:14426335. A service person by name Vijay called me after 3days (mobile no 8608559444), said he will come, again same story hide-n-seek for another 3days continued, he never turned up as promised, (God only knows the reason why D2H has poor quality service persons, no basic courtesy to even revert, if they fail to turn-up !)




  6. On 03-Dec (still a fool myself w/o losing heart …?) I called up CC and ref to above compliant asked them action. They said based on same they would send someone. No reply / call till date 07-Dec as on 11:30am So Videocon D2H team, what you guys have to say ????
