A very disappointing service by videocon.
I am a videocon d2h user since 2013 and my whole family uses it.
Videocon d2h has been in my life for a long time. During the beginning stages when I bought it, Seemed like it was the only best d2h service and yes it was the best.
You see the picture quality of this product is the best. I mean even if u don’t have a hd tv the channels are visible in hd picture quality.
It seens all nice. But the problem is except the picture quality nothing else is nice.
I have done service many times and almost all the time, the service just was disappointing. Mostly by the service technicians and most of all their pricing.
I had a south gold pack in videocon d2h and for that I had to pay 300/ Month. Well actually it was 250 then they raised it to 300 now.
Not only this these people try to snatch money in all the ways. One time my d2h didn’t start so I had a service guy to check it from Videocon. He just checked it and said the wire was cut off. The job was nothing but for that that guy asked 500 Rupees.
I know the service people are supposed to get paid for their service. But seriously 500 for 5 minutes job is just too much.
PROS: A great picture quality. A Very effective signal strength.
CONS: Very over priced in everything. Not good service.
CONCLUSION: To buy any product we just don’t look out for the pros we should look also for the cons. To summarise videocon d2h, This product has a great picture quality and a good signal strength but other than this almost from pricing to service is just worse. I am literally looking to change my d2h connection. If anybody think any other brand better than this please comment down below.
This product is totally not worth for the price we pay. And also the service cost should be made less.
