Satellite box problem not rectified by any agent

Never buy any videocon service... or hear my complaint I am a videocon d2h customer from tamilnadu (ooty). I purchased HD set of box on 21-08-12 and just four months after its guarantee period the set of box stopped working. It happened after I upgraded the new software the company provided through through my connection. The blue color indication is not glowing in the set of box instead a orange/ yellow color light glows from the box interrupted  I consulted the customer care four times and they booked complaint at last.


After 4 hours someone from my local phoned me to recharge Rs 320 in order to get new set off box and he added that my problem with the set off box has happened to lot of people of the same region in this same time and it couldn’t be repaired. He advised me to recharge the amount and asked me to come to his office to get new box replaced. It is difficult for to get there after my duty hours to receive the box, but he didn’t help me to get the new one.


It is the fourth day of the complaint and nobody came for repair or replacing the satellite box. What is more disgusting is that each day a certain amount from my account is depreciating for viewing their service where as my satellite box is out of order all these day. I feel great mistake by purchasing your product where as a lot of other service providers like sun tv, reliance and tata sky are offering great services here in the surrounding. I request you all people not to go for videocon product
