I have been using Videocon D2H for the past 2 months now. At the very first look, the picture quality of the programs will impress you (if u have switched from your normal cable). The second thing that will leave you wanting a Videocon D2H, is the attractive subscription packages at a much cheaper rate than any other DTH services currently available. I have opted for the Diamond Pack and it provides me with all the possible channels that I watch regularly. Also, the extra services on D2H is quite extensive ranging from Songs, Movies (including PPV), Radio service.
On the flip side, the one thing that might put u off, is the time it takes to start the set top box. Also, the picture breaks sometime due to signal loss, but thats rare. I was told that there will be no signal loss during monsoon and only heavy black clouds will hamper the signal. But, on the very next day, the October rains played spoil sport and there was no signal even when it was not raining incessantly. The movies on Videocons own movie channels (Ch No: 275, 276 & 277) are repetitive. They just change the channel for the movies.
Overall, over looking some minor glitches, Videocon D2H is a decent product and recommendable to others.
