I Videocon d2h sometime back and all the ads and dreams that these people are selling are just dreams and nothing worth. Do not waste money on getting this useless box that only provides half the channel and has plenty of issues.
#1. Picture & Sound Quality: 1st thing to understand is that Free of Air channels are the only channels from big support like Discovery, AnimalPlanet, ID & National Geographic are HD rest many channel that are Free to Air aren’t HD. For get HD view on your TV your TV has to be HD, so there is not point in talking or thinking about HD when your TV isn’t not HD. This information is not informed anywhere and is like a common sense. So now the Sound Quality & Picture Qaulity via Videocon D2H is same as it will be the regular cable connection which is much cheaper and cost very less for installation and there’s no maintenance.
#2. Service & Support: You’ve to understand that to get all TV at your home working via this d2h need same number of receiver installed in your d2h dish, so if you have more than 1 TV then you have to pat 300 INR extra for each TV just for the satellite receiver and for every individual channel you’ve to get a separate tuner this will cost you 800 INR extra on each extra tuner. Service & Support guys inform you this rate but the Service and Support guy are corrupt and convince you to wait and lodge a complaint they’ll come and provide you a new tuner for less price but you should not inform the company that you got the new one for your different TV. They’re somehow managing it. As I mentioned that Support guys that actually comes are corrupt and you should not pay to them because they are not providing you the new tuner and only gives you 100-200 INR discount and when this will not work then it’s on you.
So Service and Support is bad.
#3. Value for Money: This’s not value for money because if you do not recharge your account then you’ll only be able to watch free to Air channel and recharging it every month with constant change in traffic and which one is best is very complex to understand. If you do not recharge your account regularly then you’ll get unnecessary calls.
I do not recommend it to anyone. It’s waste of money.
