Daawat (Shop no-24, 25, Laxmi Rattan Market, Faridabad-121001) is situated near to the hardware chowk in Faridabad. It actually has atmosphere, unlike pretty much every other restaurant I have dined at recently. The lighting is low but not too low, the tables and chairs are made of a decorative moulded iron, and there is some kind of pale yellow hut type thing going on inside. And it was so pleasantly cool when I stepped inside from the hot blowing winds.
I was also excited about the menu, which had a good selection of every category of dishes (appetizers, breads, meat dishes, vegetarian dishes, drinks, desserts. Mutton Karahi, Egg Curry, Chilly Chicken, Spl Cream Chicken, Palak Paneer, Aloo Jeera, Tamato Soup, Hakka Noodles are the most liked dishes by the patrons. Apart from these kabab are favourites at Dawat. You can really enjoy a daawat at Daawat. A main problem what I personally think as a locallite is the location, its very far for the people staying in sector ares on the other side of mathura road, otherwise a must check out food zone.
