DABANNG 2 -> when its a salman khan blockbuster, writing about the finer aspects of film making is indeed not needed , and the sole motive should be to enjoy the fun ride till it lasts and once again, Team Dabanng has shown that when it comes to hard core entertainment , noone beats salman khan and his brand of action, romance and humour . An out an out entertainer , dabanng 2 stands out for its ability to make the uber sophisticated multiplex audience whsitle, shout and sing along with the narrative. So you can well imagine the single screen audience in smaller towns and villages going ballistic over dabanng 2. Compare it with the version 1.0 and you will find enormous similarities, juz that the action shifts to a major town and everything is more larger than life than ever.
The usual elements remain the same - chulbul pandey, his brother makkhi, rajjo, pandey ji and chulbul’s team , there is a fevicol to entertain you and yes the villain (aka ...singham style) is back too ! Yet the movie thrills you , may be because we still havent had enough of chulbul pandey :) Salman is his usual awesum self acing the role in a way only he can . Others support him well though. The only down point I felt was in the quality of the songs which surely havent kept pace with its legendary predecessor . The movie is going to get a home run with extended weekend comprising Christmas and the new year celebrations, its party time and yes DABANNG 2 might give bollywood its highest grosser this year ( yes u guessed it right, more than "EK THA TIGER"). The much needed blockbuster some would say, Salman Khan seems to be on a roll which do not seem to end any time soon ! People, DABANNG ver 2.0 is awesum and a must watch :)
