this movie has taste like other gangster movies like "Once upon a time in Mumbai "
if you like blood chase crime and gangsters sure you will like the film other then one thing Arjun Ram Pal.
I always feel like Arjun Ram Pal doesn’t do justice to his characters he chooses to do, he proves it right again.
Randeep Hooda could have been the right cast for Arun.
The movie goes like this, Arun a guy from Mumbai chawl(slums) son of a mill worker who lost his job, start working for Dawood, but his intention is not to work under him but create his own gang. When Dawood get a hint about it off course he takes it on his pride and wants to kill Arun. So in this play Arun’s gang members get kill one after another, to which Arun reacts as attempting to ambush against Dawood, which make Arun as a good contender of Dawood for underworld.
their are few attempts they do to kill each other, but both fails.
And the time comes when Mumbai police gets wild to catch all the gangster so every big shot of underworld including Dawood goes out of India as they were scared of getting encountered by mumbai police. Arun stays in India, goes to jail serve his period of prison, as also that kept him safe from getting killed by Dawood as per him, after some time he exit from jail when he felt it was safe, he participate and win MLA seat. Very soon he becomes very popular and people’s favorite.
But the judgement of the MLA Mahatre murder case that was on him comes out as life time imprisonment for him.
He is still in jail serving his punishment period, also appealing and fighting as not guilty.
I don’t like the performances of the Actors as you can’t connect with them you don’t feel any special emotion for anyone in the charecters, there wasn’t much for anyone else to perform but still.
Music I like because of my personal choice I like Maharashtrian feel to the music.
there is nothing to say about the screen play, director did the fine job and so did the cinematographer.
We have seen it before and its not any freshness to the film, may be cause we have all the crime related TV shows running all the time in TV.
so not a big deal if you don’t watch it or watch it.
