I purchased this Daewoo AR230 frost-free refrigerator about 5.5 years ago.
I was looking for one with double door (i.e. separate compartments for food items and ice chamber/deep-freezer).
Also a good capacity one which would be useful as the family grows but won’t be too bulky/big to start with, so this one I liked the most as it has great looks with leather finish on the door and it has the right size of 175 litre + about 55 litre in deep freezer.
Absolutely no problem with this refrigerator so far.
I am not aware whether this brand is available in India today but if it is definitely I would recommend it over any other.
The compressor is of good quality make. Also electricity bills are low.
When I am away from home (for more than couple of weeks) I just switch it off and upon return turn it back on, have not faced any problem with this kind of operation either. This refrigerator does not need much cleaning, except when it is out of operation for a longer time.
I had bought it for about 16000/- at that time.
Only thing I think this product lacks is a lamp in the deep-freezer compartment.
