This is Prakash, a CIELO Lover and a proud owner from Bangalore . I own a power machine (CIELO) which is a 1998 model, margundi brown (maroon) its a GLX version (fully loaded), at times I was in a confused state whether to go in for this car or not as there were lot of negative comments / rumours about this car. So it took 6 months for me to do a lot of ground work about this and finally I got a lovely one, it had done only 67000 KM, was in a stock condition.
I decided to add a bit more performance and installed a K&N Performance filter which increases the overall performance of the car by 10 to 15% (mileage & power) thought of adding a bit of dolby and fitted a PIONEER player & speaker with a 800 watts 4 way AMP (JBL) along with 1500 watts JBL Woofer, did some work on the headlamps, interiors, would be fitting a ALLOY wheels shortly with a HELLA 7000 fog lamps, and you know !!! this vehicle by stock it has POWER windows on individual doors, POWER steering, AIRBAG, FOG lamps and a powerful A/C. Once i had been on a long drive with my friends on mysore road and YOU KNOW WHAT!!!!!!!!!! it did 170 KMPH, believe it or not its the TRUTH....TRUTH...TRUTH....
I was so happy and excited and I myself coudnt beleive it .An other instance were I felt really proud was when I just took off the other bigger cars and when looked back , it was nothing but just MUD on their MACHINES, those people just looked me with ENVY . The best thing is, it stays on road when you are negotiating a sharp curve and has a good braking system. The car is very heavier and stronger and being so it ZOOOOOOMMMMssssss off in seconds may be the K&N filter is doing its job. the mileage part, if you maintain 80-100 ( 15 kmpl) above hundred it drops to 12 or 13 kmpl but still its worth it.
Dont forget , that you are driving a SEDAN but not any small car. Today you get this cars ranging from 70k to 1 lac which is fully loaded but tell me which other car will fall in this range/budget with all the features what CIELO has.. I would say none... Folks hence forth if anyone are planning for a CIELO just go for it but make sure to do a prior check on the mechanical and body condition... and if you are talking about mechanics there are plenty in bangalore and all the parts are also available........ ......WHAT YOU WANT IS WHAT IT HAS...................so people JUST GO FOR IT :-)
