Due to the summer we experience in my city, Mumbai, having a good, durable AC becomes very important. I bought a Daikin AC a year back and since then I have barely faced any problems. After the time taken for the installation and delivery, Daikin has not upset me since. The delay was completely the dealer’s fault and after a few calls, I got my product.
What made me buy Daikin?
Power-flow dual flasps can flatten out during cooling operation to deliver cool air to the corners of the room.
The wide angle lovers keeps the whole room cool no matter where the product is placed. Vertical autoswing keeps the power flow dual flasps moving up and down. What many other products don’t provide is a function to reduce the humidity of a room and not just the temperature.
The Programme Dry Function removes the humidity while maintaining the room temperature.
The automatic fan controls its own speed to get the temperature to the designated level.
There’s an automatic timer which switches the AC off and on as instructed within a period of 24-hours.
What I found very convenient and unique about Daikin AC is the Night Set Mode. Pressing the Off button automatically selects the night mode where the temperature is risen a bit before it shuts down completely.
There’s a wireless remote controller apart from a switch unit on the model.
It has a self-diagnostic operation function which alerts through the wireless remote or the digital display present on the model. The AC shut down due to a power cut and when we got power back, it restarted on its own with the designated settings.
Exteriors:
The design is chic and looks great in my living room. It has a flat-designed panel which makes it very easy to clean. The anti-corrosion body is brilliant and makes the AC look new, even after years.
What it lacks?
It doesn’t have a horizontal air swing which also disables it from having a 3D airflow.
