Based on reviews from friends, I bought a 1.5T Daikin Split last year from Sargam Electronics for my office. Its performance has been disappointing to say the least.
Complained to the customer care twice, but according to them its working fine. Daiking customer care department is non-existent in my opinion, as all the work right from installation & repairs are handed over to its authorized dealers & not company engineers. Infact the 1T Daikin’s bought from the Gaffar Market at my friend’s place has an exceptional performance, and chills the room to the core. Same goes for few others who bought from Gaffar. I guess I made a huge mistake of trusting the Indian Made Daikin from a company authorized Dealer, and should have bought from the Grey Market. This doubt was further proved to be true by the dealer’s engineer that Indian made Daikin’s are of far cheaper quality than what they used to be.
Have to buy 2 more splits for my new house, lets see which one comes home this time. Will keep updated.
