Got this ac to replace the troublesome ac at my other house. My experience with daikin was nil, I have mitsubishi acs at my current house and they have been touch wood. I could only find a daikin dealer near by my other house and since they are one of the best I gave it a go.
Now guys do remember when you go for a mistubishi or diakin the copper tubes cables and drain hose is not included unless you make some kind of deal with the dealer. Else you can see around 2-6k installation costs for the ac.
The installation was done in a professional manner using vacuum pump etc and doing a thorough leak test. On starting the outdoor unit was one of the most silent outdoor units you barely would know its on, same with most inverter acs I assume.
The ac cools the room quick and being an inverter ac manages the temperatures without getting too cold or too warm.
After sales service has been prompt with the dealer calling you a day in advance to notify you of service and scheduling the same. its been two years now and the only issue faced was a malfunctioning remote which they took a week to replace, the house not being used much made it ok to bare with the week delay but had it been used a one weeks time would be painful.
I cant comment on power bills since its only used 2-3 nights a month.
