I bought a new Daikin Air conditioner (Split- Inverter type) in April 2014. The AC wasnt working properly from the beginning. I logged a formal complaint/service request about a week ago. The engineer who arrived after a few days didnt have any knowledge about inverter air conditioners and was untrained and unprofessional.
Again after waiting another few days, another mechanic arrived and now says that it might take more than a week to get the part (PCB) replaced as Daikin does not have spare parts readily available.
This is one of the most expensive ACs in its category and my experience shows unprofessional and poor quality of after sales service. Trying to contact Senior Managers or Supervisors at their call center did not yield any result and their service center call center did not provide any contact number or email ID for escalation. This indicates that Daikin India is not a professional company.
