Daily thanthi -- first of all I dont call it as a newspaper. one can say it is just a dust paper. but what to do it is my fate that I have to write a review on this useless paper . because it is proclaiming that it is the paper having highest circulation in the entire country, and it is saying that is sold 1 crore papers per day. I know who buys this paper , if u come to tamilnadu u can see numerous teashops selling hot ’bondas’ and ’vadais’ for packing that they need some paper. for that purpose only tamilians are buying this paper . it is equivalent to our english times of india.
for example on the front page u can see some glamour actress photos with two piece dress that too print quality is deplorable, below which a title will be there saying glamour pin up. what nonsense it is . and there will be one cartoon u will only get irritated, and there will one big title about the ruling party and some few lines and some beedi advertisement thats all nothing else is there in the front page of that indias highly circulated paper , I dont know whether it is the fault of our people or the paper.
if u go inside the paper on any day u can see some rape news , some murder news, some suicide news. and some photos of murdered or charred lady , after seeing that I am sure that whole day u will be disturbed only, and some photos of lamb having 5 legs, calf having two heads and so on. thats all paper over.
