I watched the movie Daivame Kaithozham K Kumarakanam yesterday, written and directed by actor Salim Kumar.The film has Jayaram, Anusree Nair, Nedunudi Venu, Indrans, Sreenivasan etc.This film is a fantasy drama follows the life of K Kumar(Jayaram) and Nirmala(Anusree).God(Nedumudi Venu) and his assistant(Pradeep Kottayam) come to stay at their house to be among his creation and acquire knowledge about their problems.
The screenplay is filled with skit-like comedy sequences that have very little connection with the story.The film tries to convey a much-needed lesson, but director Salim Kumar decided to do it in the worst way humanly possible.Salim Kumar has great calibre as an actor but apparently not as a writer or director.It’s really a mix of television comedy dialogues and drama.worst movie I ever saw in the theatre.Jayaram proved that he is not fit for present trends in Malayalam movies.I don’t know what is the purpose of taking such a film.We were expecting some more from Salim Kumar.The songs of the film have been set to tone by Nadirshah.The title song was good other songs are average.so friends, To all who plan to watch this movie I suggest you throw your money into the sea, same difference.Don’t go for watching this film.
