Worst customer service

I had booked a Honda Jazz with Dakshin Honda three months ago. I must say they were very prompt in telling me that the waiting period is 3-4 months and hence this review is not about the car or the waiting period, it is about how they treat their customers.


I went their twice before booking the car and I must say they were quite consistent in their behavior




  1. Our presence in the showroom was acknowledged after 20 minutes




  2. It took almost 30 minutes to get hold of the sales guy, who knew nothing more than what we already knew (i.e basic information about the car)




  3. we were not given brochures of the car ( Thanks to 3G, I downloaded one on my phone while I was sitting in their Hosur road showroom)




  4. Booked the car, made the payment and then started the game of waiting which we did not mind as we were told that it’d be long.




  5. After 2 months, we got a call from these guys offering us the higher model, which we declined to which the showroom manager replied that company has stopped production of Jazz Standard and he is not sure when the car will come. When my husband inquired about the same, the manager went back on his words and said he never said that Honda has stopped the production of Jazz Standard.






6.  Anyway, we waited for another month and like any other Samaritan thought of getting the status of our booking. I called 4 days in a row, as every time the receptionist used to say the guys are in meeting and she will arrange a call back in 10 minutes. No points fir guessing, the call never came.




  1. Finally,  I went and searched on net (should have done earlier) and learnt that Dakshin Honda’s after sale service is even more pathetic, we decided to cancel the booking. I sent a mail for cancellation, 10 days after that I am still waiting for my money which I should have got 3 days earlier.




Moral of the story: I would not have mind waiting but their attitude towards customer is so ungrateful that it made me change my decision. These guys are bunch of non professional people who are there for god-knows-what business. and all this time I used to think that sales guys work on commissions


My 2 cents to everyone reading this, please don’t go to Dakshin Honda.
