I am a owner of Honda City bought from Dakshin Honda showroom a year back. One year later I am very much disappointed with Dakshin because of recent incident.
As my car needs insurance renewal, I received a notice with insurance premium details. Because I have purchased 2 Honda City cars on same day, I wanted to ask for a bargain & called up Dakshin Honda Insurance department that shows on website front page.
During the call I was told that there is a new discount and I would be charged only 14500Rs against 15788Rs as initially quoted in policy received. As I wanted to pay the insurance through credit card, I dropped down at Dakshin, paid 14500 through CC and took a photocopy of my insurance policy details in which IDV was quoted to be Rs711040.
2 days later, I promptly receive insurance papers in which IDV is quoted to Rs666000. When I called and asked the concerned person, the reply I get is "We are sorry for inconvenience but you need to 1000Rs more for 711040 IDV. Our manager will call you but I cant do anything". None called me by the way!
I feel cheated. This tarnishes Honda & Dakshin image for me.
