Dakshineshwar kali temple is established by Rani Rashmoni.This temple is situated besides ganga river.There are 12 shivlings in the temple area.The central temple is the kali mandir.Whenever I visit kolkata, i always came here because it creates a deep feeling of peace in mind and body.The atmoshere is very eco friendly.At every evening the sandhya aarti took place with nostalgic bhajan’s.
This place has it’s own value because this is famous for a priest name Ramkrishna paramhansa who cares kali maa’s every needs.People not from kolkata, pilgrims also come from different states and some came from different countries also.
Every year during kali puja a huge arrangement is done for pilgrims.Temple trust serves bhog it consist of khichdi, tomato chutney, kheer & many types of bhajiyas.The faith of peoples in kali maa attracts thousands of peoples every year.
