The good thing about dalal street is its stock recommendations.
Unlike others who recommend and forget, dalal street reviews its recommends periodically.
The othe good stuff is the investor queries page where they answer readers queries.
I cant comment on the performance of its recommendations , I dont have quantitative unbiased data for that, but my guess is that if you buy on their buy and sell on thier hold or sell you will do quite ok.
The data format is lacking two vey very important fileds;ROE/ROCE and dividend yield, Nor is the data presented in a trailing twelve months format (ttm).
Dalal street remains my no 1 source for stock ideas.
I do my own research after reading it, for better data I have to refer to capital market or online sites like icicidirect.
Unfortunately dalal street is not available online nor is its sister publication flash news widely available.
To the serious investor it is well worth the 50 or so rupees it costs.
