Damadamm earlier titled as Ishq Unplugged is an Upcoming Bollywood comedy film directed by Swapna Waghmare, starring music composer turned actor Himesh Reshammiya, Sonal Sehgal and Purbi Joshi in lead roles.The filming started on 1 March 2009 and completed its schedule within 2 months. It was set to release mid-2010, but was later delayed.
The story of Damadamm is about Sameer(Himesh) who is fed up of his nagging girlfriend Shikha(Purbi). Somehow he gets freedom from her and this is the moment Sameer wants to enjoy. Actually Purbi is out of town for a family wedding and this is time when Sameer can make the fullest of his freedom.
Sameer sees himself as the luckiest person on this globe. No sooner than Shikha leaves he parties, he boozes, even flirts with girls. In short he does everything he could do to please himself and whatever he can’t do in Shikha’s presence. All was well until Shikha shows back again. Now how he handles his girlfriend and his freedom is the plot of Damadamm.
Himesh Reshammiya has said that Damadamm will prove his decision of becoming an Actor right.The songs of the movie is hummable. Its now up to the Audience to see if this Movie will Make or Break Himesh Reshammiya’s career as an Actor.
