Daman is the Union territory of Daman & Diu. Daman airport is actually a military base and is also the base for Indian Coast Guard Air Station. Because of this Daman do not have public accessed air mode of travel.
Hence, there is no scheduled commercial air service. But, from 2013 there has been few experiments for commercial air service but as on date there is no green signal for it to initiate on a regular basis. But there is parking facility for defence as well as civilian aircraft.
Considering the defence airbase, the infrastructure of Daman airport is simply superb with high class trained army officials and engineers.
