Well, Daman is having only attraction of Liquors, Cheap Brooze that state is having coz of tax exemptions. Nothing to see there & no activities are happy ending, even the local peoples & hotel persons are treating you like you came daman only for Liquors.
Daman is place were Hotel industries are centrally concentrated only on liquors, too much to have a day or 2 stay at there, the beaches are not cleaned, there is not white send on any beach, the water is over polluted & even swiming is not advisable, I saw so may drunkers are throwing empty liquor botttels in the sea, sea shore is Rockey.
Stay at 3/4 star hotels at daman, dont go for cheap one, they will be always trying to add some amount in your final bills, Miramar, Cida Da De Daman, is good option, . but main thing is even this stared hotels are not aware of Simple Hotel rules. as I said all at Daman are Liqure driven business. waiters & Managers are very rude in some hotels.
Even Wineshop operators are closed for weekdays & opens there shops at Weekends. Rate are like totally diffrent in all the liqure shop.rates are cheaper then all over india. wineshop owners are feeling like a KING of the Daman regime.
Food is OK, but you have to fined a good restro yourself. Beside Daman DIU is the best option, sand is white, hotel are very much like Goa.
so, advise is that take a Pilgrim trip rather than visiting Daman.
