amir khan as mahaveer singh phogat geeta and babita’s father tries to get a baby boy after these two girls were born but fails and one day realizes kushti toh girls bhi khel sakti h and starts training his girls for kushti because he had a dream to win gold medal for india in the same but he had to stop fighting wreseltling bcz of family pressure to earn money to survive bcz they thought these games wont give you anything , after he noticed his girls can be good he started training and how geeta started winning matches and while they were new they tried hard to get out of this stuff and so one day the girls realized her father is fight against the whole village and thinking about her so they could become something and geet so becomes the national champion and geeta was sent to patiyala for further coaching where she started getting of her track by the change of environment and sort of freedom she got she fought alot of matches internationally but wasnt able to win and after some time she returns home and then babita noticed geeta being changed alot and after the time babita also won national champion and went to patiyala sports academy where babita made geeta realized that she should talk to her father and her father mr. phogat came to patiyala and started training geeta and babita in early morning but they get caught and are safe but sooner she wins the gold medal in commonwealth games in india and they acheive what they wanted to
